I'll be going to my first Jeff-Pulver-orchestrated 140 Character Conference in a day or two, the one in L.A. It's my first 100% Twitter conference, and a big shout out to Mashable for the ticket!
I'm looking forward to a lot surrounding the conference, not the least of which is getting tons more live info on how everyone from cops to journalists are using Twitter. In particular:
- The democratization of information panel, including Arianna Huffingon and Jon Klein of CNN. As I spent a large percentage of my days tracking information, links, views and reports on the future of news for Knight Pulse, this panel is of huge interest to me.
- Really curious about what Greg Dalesandre will say in Google Wave and the Future of Communications--I've only just signed up with it, and I'm anxious to give it a try for at least one of my podcast collaborations.
- It's All About the People with Adam Wallace and Brian Simpson-hoping this is about facilitating real, human interaction on Twitter
- Making. News. Now!, also due to my Knight Pulse involvement
- Just because I listen to Stever Robbins entirely too much, wondering what How I Became a Zombie on Twitter is about!
- Always good to hear whatever C.C. Chapman has to say
- Drew Olanoff talking about cancer and how hashtags can change the world
- And just because he's adorable and haven't seen him since I moved from Chicago, Ben Parr's talk on Twitter apps (oh, yeah, I want to know about the apps, too!)
