AudioBoo.fm is a great service and iPhone app that allows users to post audio instantly to appear in a public stream. For some, it has replaced podcasting's heavy editing process with quick, spontaneous bursts of thought, analysis and interviews.
For me, AudioBoo is fantastic for getting out a quick thought or impression before it becomes a blog post--and serves as a reminder that that blog post is lurking, waiting to be fleshed out.
